I have been in the field of psychology for 19 years in multiple settings. My practice is culturally diverse. Some areas that I work with frequently are: Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, Faith based counseling, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, Parenting, Sexual Abuse and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Therapy is a safe place where we are able to work on parts of our lives where we find ourselves stuck. Understanding one's attachments to others is key to understanding one's self: this clarity can bring freedom. My goal is to assist others to grow and become the healthiest, most authentic that he or she can be.

I am an onion peeler; it is my natural inclination to collaborate and to find the core of what is transpiring. Empathy is crucial during this process. Although, not all of issues cannot be fixed as quickly as we would like, progress can be made. The dysfunction that arose from the past can be processed. These struggles can be moved to the back of the bus, if you will, rather than driving it. Therefore, movement and decisions become one's choices rather than default responses. Again, I want someone to be able to be authentic, comfortable in his or her own skin and to find laughter. Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
