I am a licensed clinical psychologist with degrees from USC (Ph.D.) and two masters degrees from California State University at Los Angeles (psychology and special education). I also hold life teaching credentials in both elementary/multiple subjects and special education (severely handicapped).
I have been working in the field of mental health for 30 years with a diverse experiential background. I have been in private practice for over 20 years with training and experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I currently balance my practice between those three groups.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, reflecting the wide range of training and experience I've received. I can adjust this approach, by mutual agreement, with each client based on both clinical needs and personal beliefs. I have training and experience with most clinical issues. I will inform you directly if a given area of clinical work is beyond my current competence.
I am a provider for most insurance company panels and private pay arrangements can be made as well, if necessary. I offer counseling from a Christian perspective upon request.
