Flor Martinez received her undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic University in Pomona in 2005 and obtained her Master's degree from Argosy University as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2010. Ms Martinez has had 10 years of experience working as a marriage and family therapist. Ms. Martinez has treated children, adolescents, families, and adults of a wide range of ages. Throughout her time, she has also had experience treating various mental health diagnosed clients, including: depression disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, personality disorders, attention deficit disorder, as well as other treatable diagnoses.
Ms. Martinez's most commonly used modalities: are both client-centered and psychodynamic as believes strongly in cognitive behavioral therapies as a way to empower and encourage clients to build better coping skills. Ms. Martinez would describe herself as a "well-rounded therapist who prides herself on being inclusive, compassionate, and respectful of all populations of clients." Ms. Martinez is also very passionate about working within her Spanish-speaking community as a vessel to provide hope, change and guidance.
